It’s been a hot second, ok, maybe a long few months, but I’ve been super busy with planning, dress searching, meetings, etc, all of which I’ll get into soon in their own separate blogs. But, what I really wanted to focus on today is the 30-day countdown to the Loria/Corbat wedding.
I met Lauren and David through Lauren’s parents who found me on my site (I was totally pumped that someone other than my family and friends were actually looking at my site). Lauren’s dad reached out to me and after chatting on the phone with him and his wife, I knew we had made a connection. I met with the Loria’s and it was like I had known them for years. Such sweet parents who, like any other parents just want their daughter’s day to go smooth and stress free (exactly what my job is!). After just an hour meeting with them, I felt like a part of their family, this is the best way I can describe how I want client meetings to conclude, I want everyone to walk away feeling like we’re all family, and can entrust in me in making sure one of the biggest days of their lives is exactly what they dreamed!
Shortly after meeting Mr. & Mrs. Loria, I had the pleasure of finally meeting Laruen and David. They are such an adorable couple, both who graduated from my alma mater (Go Lakers!), and are super talented in their own work (Lauren is an AMAZING photographer and also owns her own business Lauren Loria Photography). Lauren reminded me a lot of myself, super buttoned up, detail oriented, and organized. She had an answer for every question I asked, and David would oblige with a “yes dear” (he said he was practicing). We chatted, ate lunch, went over details, and I could tell at the end, Lauren and David were ready to hand this all over and leave it to me!
The wedding is on December 30th, 2016 and I am so excited to see their vision come together. I love a wedding right after the Holidays, the décor in churches is amazing (and bonus, they don’t have to pay for extra flowers), all the pretty white lights, and praying for a light snowfall, just enough to cover the ground and trees to make it look like a winter wonderland.
Check back in after December 30th for a re-cap of the wedding, and to find out what the center pieces look like (the bride doesn’t even know…I know you’re like “WHAT?” but the story behind it is super sweet and I’ll share it on the blog after the wedding!)
It’s the FINAL COUNTDOWN! (and yes while I was typing that I totally started singing the Rocky theme song in my head)
I'm busy working on my blog posts. Watch this space!
